As a second drive in a PC, or a backup you plug in once a week, it does what you need.
!Watch out for
It isn't a NAS drive, and WD gives it no NAS bay rating. Building an array? Get a NAS or data-centre line, which comes with the rating. It's a 7,200 rpm drive and you'll hear it working.
Backblaze doesn't run enough of these for a failure rate we'd publish. On paper it makes 29 dB at idle and 30 dB seeking. WD lists 6.1 W at idle and 6.8 W working, which comes to 53 kWh a year for a drive that idles around the clock.
