ICY DOCK Black Vortex MB074SP-B
4-bay cage · Direct drive connection, no backplane (SATA/SAS/IDE) · 3.5in drives
Model MB074SP-B
Should you buy the ICY DOCK Black Vortex MB074SP-B?
Got three empty 5.25in bays in an old case? This turns them into four drive bays.
Watch out for
The maker doesn't list hot-swap, which means powering the machine down every time a drive needs changing.
Count your SATA ports first, because it needs four of them, and an HBA card sorts that out if you're short.
